Backed by action: Our partnership with Stacks + Joules
The built environment faces two major challenges. It is responsible for 39% of global energy-related carbon emissions. And it is losing more talent than it is gaining, creating a growing gap that makes it harder for organisations to find, attract and keep the people they need.
We can’t fix this alone. But we can play our part, and we are serious about doing that.
That is why we partner with Stacks + Joules, a nonprofit dedicated to igniting the next generation of talent in building automation and energy management.
Through hands-on, project-based learning, like coding wireless LEDs to master complex IoT systems, they fast-track young people into well-paid, climate-critical roles.
We support them because their mission aligns with ours: uncovering overlooked talent, breaking down career barriers, and creating real change from day one. Our founder, Lewis, has been involved for years and now serves as chairman.
Impact snapshot
- Skills that matter
Students gain technical know-how and certifications in building automation, with job outcomes that include paid internships and full-time roles in energy-efficient systems. - Real-world impact
Projects include optimising HVAC and lighting systems in public buildings like Chicago schools, cutting real energy waste and carbon emissions. - Purpose-driven talent
Many learners come from backgrounds that face systemic barriers. This is more than tech training. It is opportunity, confidence-building, and access to global climate careers.
